ברכה ראשונה

Something I’m still thinking about from our mifgashim with Rav Dov and Rav Yossi…  (Say your answer to someone specific. Doesn’t have to do with them at all, just practicing saying something directly to someone in the group instead of to the “avir”)

לימוד ועבודה פנימית

מוסיף והולך

Introduction: Working on the blitz/dibbur yahir as next stage of authentic dialogue amongst the chaburah. Review value of the work and why its a different stage.

Chanukah background- בית הלל- מוסיף והולך. Take core “light” and broaden it, take it further

Groups of 3

Person #1 - What is my אור קטן?

Person #2- Reflect back to person #1 what they said and check that it was reflected properly

Person #3- Look at person #1, call them by name and say: Your X night should be…

Person #1- Thanks #3 and can ask for a different number if they want. Or they can ask for פוחת והולך. Take it to its core.

ברכה אחרונה

What did we learn? How did dibbur yashir change the nature of our sharing?

Notes to the teacher

  • This is the place to make suggestions to the teacher of different ways they may choose to facilitate this limmud
  • Or particular grade levels or sensitivities to take into account
  • Or anything else you think is important for the teacher to know

עבודת המורה

  • This is the place to raise some questions that make sure the teacher tests the limmud on themselves or others
  • Could be a general question like - which part of the limmud resonated most for you? Which question was the hardest for you to answer?
  • Or questions anticipating students’ responses- What do you think students will say for X or Y? To what extent are you open to being surprised?
